An Exchange of People and Ideas between Japan and
Mississippi
May 30-June 14, 1986
The Mississippi Opinion Makers' Tour
represented the first opportunity of its kind for State leaders in the
areas of government, business, agriculture, the media, and education to
meet with their counterparts in Japan and exchange ideas on a wide
variety of issues, all with the intent of laying the foundation for a
constantly expanding, multi-faceted set of mutually beneficial
relationships between the peoples of Japan and Mississippi.
